What happens when you stay with an idea?
I started this project with an idea.
I wanted to capture the cracks, lines and textures I kept noticing in the city — and bring them into my collages.
I tried to draw them.
It didn’t work.
So I put the idea aside.
But I kept making.
And somewhere along the way, the idea came back — not as a drawing, but through the materials, colours, layers and prints I was already exploring.
What started as a 100-day project became a year-long exploration of staying with an idea without trying to control where it will lead.
