About Me

Hi, I’m Sylvia – a collage artist and surface pattern designer based in Germany.

For many years, I worked in accounting – structured, precise, and safe. But creativity was always calling me. At 47, I decided to change my path and create my own story.: a life filled with art, colors, patterns, and playful experiments.

I believe in the beauty of imperfection, in bold shapes, vibrant contrasts, and the joy of daily creativity. My work combines handmade textures, abstract forms, and a love for exploring new ideas – whether through collage art or designing for everyday products.

When I’m not creating, I enjoy quiet moments of meditation, walks with my family and our German Shepard, or simply collecting inspiration from the little things around me.

Creativity grows with daily practice – that’s why I started my personal challenge:

In this project, I explore colors, contrasts, shapes and compositions without aiming for perfection – just focusing on the process, experimenting, and discovering my own visual language.
